Falling Apart

I went all Jackson Pollock on this piece and spent a great evening throwing and smearing paint!

My favorite side of the piece. I spent the evening feeling like this while I painted it.

 

 

I learned that I don’t like plastic, and that I have to use that stinky paint outside, or get some eco-groovy stuff for painting inside. I had a head ache for a week from the fumes in my house. Tthere will be more big stuff, but from now on, it will be on canvas.

Second Assignment

This piece is entitled “Broken,” we had to draw eggs to understand light. I was feeling a bit like this at times.

First Assignment

My first drawing assignment, using different lines to render an arrangement of lollipops. These are the first drawings I have ever done, and I was stoked, since I thought that I couldn’t draw!

First Project

Inspired by a chair…we got to cut out paper and glue it together, like in grade school.
